HOW TO PLANT YOUR HANG TAGS

At ALLI, every purchase has a positive impact. Not only do we plant a tree in your name for each and every order that you make, but you get the chance to plant a little something special too!

Our hang tags and our thank you cards are make from recycled, biodegradable paper, and embedded with a mix of wildflower meadow seeds. They're environmentally friendly and fully compostable so once they disintegrate, they leave behind no toxic chemicals or harmful by-products. And, when they're in bloom, the delicate flowers will help to save butterflies and bees by acting as a rich feeding ground for our pollen-frenzy friends.

Please bear in mind that, unfortunately, there is no guarantee that each and every seed will bloom. As with everything in nature, many factors come into play during the germination process, and a delicate balance of the elements must be met to allow for them to grow. With that being said, more often than not, they really do bloom. Trust us, we've seen it happen!

Method 1:

Place your tag in a pot of soil, or directly in your garden outside, and cover it with soil. Make sure to water it generously and often. It needs to stay fairly moist, at the very least until the seeds have germinated. Place your pot in a warm spot, preferably on a windowsill which sits in direct sunlight. Give it some good lovin', and the seeds should start to sprout in a week or two.

Method 2:

Alternatively, you may also submerge your seeded paper in warm water roughly 5mm deep, and keep it in natural light. Replace the water every few days. You may transfer it into a pot of soil once the seeds have sprouted.

Like David Attenborough said, we need to rewild the world.

Let's do David proud.
